Anxiety buster workshop with a creative difference
Anxiety-buster workshop with a creative difference
It’s been a while in the making, but I’m really excited to be combining psychology with creativity in this 4-week anxiety-buster workshop. Over the course of four, two hour sessions, I’ll take you through some of what I’ve learnt about anxiety. We’ll look at why we get anxiety, as well as how it can show up in very surprising ways in our mind and body. We’ll then learn some techniques in how to manage and regulate our anxiety.
Whilst I’ll be doing my best to educate and provide lots of great learnings on anxiety, I’ll also be helping you tap into your creative side. Creativity allows us to slow down, become more mindful, build confidence whilst also nurture self-expression.
So, if you’re keen to learn more about you and your anxiety whilst doing something creative and fun then this workshop’s for you. Spaces limited to 8 people per workshop.

A little about me.
I'm a registered psychologist with 17 plus years’ experience working in both public and private practice settings. I have a keen interest in anxiety and the way it can show up in our mind and body. I also have a keen interest in helping people live their best life and what I have learnt is that anxiety is one of the main culprits that holds us back from getting what we desire. My aim to help others get curious about their anxiety, as well as to de-mystify and de-stigmatise anxiety.
I'm also a creative. My creative story started after I had children. In the early days of caring for three toddlers, I found respite in creativity. I started off doing mosaics then found polymer clay and more recently discovered I love making pom-poms. Creativity has become a huge part of my life. For me, creativity has been very therapeutic. Whenever I create something, I feel good. I feel a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction. I believe, creativity is food for the soul!
Please Note: this workshop is designed for educational purposes rather than experiential group therapy. My goal is to provide each participant with information and hopefully more insight into their own individual experience. I encourage reflection and discussion however this forum does not encompass group or individual therapy.
